There are lots of reasons to love summer: pools, bbq’s, bike rides, gelato, flowers, relaxing on the deck, family vacations, the beach, sailing and especially – not shoveling snow. For some people summer is the perfect time to head out doors to work in the garden (see Lorraine Mennen’s article), for others it’s time to head out on the trail by bike or foot, so check out Barb Campbell’s article on triathlons. Summer is also a great time to take in others people’s gardens, and we’ve given you our annual handy Erin garden tour guide.
